Situated in the southwestern portion of Dutchess County, LaGrange Township is the site of Baird Park, the Taconic State Park Commission Recreation Center. The five villages in this great apple producing area are Billings, Titusville, LaGrangeville, Arthursburg and Freedom Plains. Although the town is considered suburban, it has retained the flavor of its agricultural roots and “country” atmosphere through careful zoning and expert planning.
