Chadds Ford Township is a township in Delaware County, about 30 miles southwest of Philadelphia. As of the census of 2000, there were 3,170 people. Chadds Ford offers an abundance of open space and farmland. Ever since the opening of the Chaddsford Winery in 1982, the township has become a center of viticulture and wine production. The most famous local attraction is the Brandywine River Museum, where the works of the Wyeth family and other American artists are displayed.
